HERE’s how it Works:

  1. Empty your gear closet and clean up your used outdoor gear. You can sell used (but working) bikes, kayaks & canoes, camping gear, climbing gear*, clothing, fitness equipment, ski's, snowboards, racks, etc.

  2. Bring it to RCF on Saturday 10/13 at 11am and display it on the tables we provide. Outdoors if weather permits.

  3. Sell, Swap or Upgrade your gear!

Negotiate your best price and walk away with some extra $$ in your pocket. We're not involved in the transaction, but we're happy to help make change if necessary. Vemno/PayPal are also recommended.

Trade the stuff you're not using with other folks at the gear swap.

Take the cash from your sales and RCF will boost it on any RCF Pro Shop purchases made 10/13. For example - sell your skateboard for $20 at the Gear Swap and RCF will turn it into $25 on any pro shop purchase. $50 in sales becomes $60, and so on.

Patagonia New Haven will be on hand with the Patagonia Worn Wear table where they teach you how to do basic repairs on your outdoor jackets and garments. Blown out zipper or button? Bring it to the Gear Swap!

Sales/trades are presumed final and responsibility and representation are solely between the seller and buyer. Use your best judgement and inspect your purchases.

RCF is not responsible for inspecting or guaranteeing clothing or equipment bought and sold at the gear swap.

We also strongly discourage the sale and purchase of used personal protective equipment like harnesses, ropes, slings, helmets, etc.
