Paradox Mile 2017 Recap

In June 2017 Rock Climb Fairfield hosted is 2nd Paradox Mile: a month-long challenge to climb a vertical mile while fundraising to benefit Paradox Sports adaptive climbing programs. 

84 of our awesome RCF members and staff climbed and fundraised more than $20,000 for Paradox.

Here's some fun facts to recap RCF's Paradox Mile 2017.

  • 84 climbers participated in the Paradox Mile
  • Together, we raised $20,698 for Paradox Sports adaptive climbing programs
  • We received 433 donations for Paradox

Thank you to all the climbers, fundraisers and donors who contributed their time and hard earned dollars to support our campaign.

Paradox Sports mission is to help make rock climbing indoors and outside accessible to individuals with a disability.

Enock Glidden of Maine has been a regular participant in Paradox Sports rock and ice climbing programs and he recently completed his goal of climbing a big wall route on Yosemite's El Capitan.After learning about the Paradox Mile, Enock sent us this video to thank everyone that participated or donated.
